Building skills like those relevant to literacy, building content knowledge, and assessing both of those, are challenging and sometimes seem to be oddly conflicting objectives when teaching Social Studies and related subjects. The following resources don’t neatly fit into the rest of this website, but they do address a teacher’s need to efficiently provide literacy building and content knowledge related assignment and assessment tools for students.
